So it’s International Women’s Day and we here at Uninhibited couldn’t be any more proud to be chicks!
A huge aspect of Uninhibited.co is self expression and being proud of who you are, unselfconsciously. So as it’s International Women’s Day, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to reach out to a few women who seriously inspire, empower and support us and ask them to answer the question:
What is one thing you LOVE or are PROUD of about yourself?
We are sick to death of women tearing themselves and each other down in the internet world and in the real world so thought we would give you ladies out there an opportunity to reflect on the question yourself as well as be inspired by some self lovin’ from some seriously cool women.
The mere fact that we were able to create this post in 2 days, giving no notice to the ladies we have featured, reveals the true power and support behind this beautiful online community of women we are a part of, and that makes us so excited and inspired.

I’m proud of the fact that I believe in myself and that I can do anything I set my mind to. It may take time and lots of hard work, but nothing good comes easy and the effort makes you appreciate the journey there.

Something that I love about myself, even if it’s pretty crazy sometimes, is my mind. I love it’s endless imaginings and constant flow of ideas. It’s constantly thinking of things to create, I’m proud of what I make, of my work and what I’m capable of.

The term “love yourself” gets thrown around a lot, often with no weight or real substantially behind it – I think truly loving and appreciating yourself is one of the most difficult lessons we have to learn, particularly in a society where we are so conditioned to doubt and despise ourselves. So I love that I value my self worth enough to take the time in learning how to truly love myself, no matter how long that takes.

I’m most proud of myself for raising my darling son solo from when he was only five. He is now the most amazing Dadda to his own little family and my heart just bursts when I see what a loving caring man he is.

One thing I love about myself is that I am genuinely not interested in what other people think of me. I’m self-aware enough to know that everyone judges, and has opinions on everything, but I feel like I just don’t have it in me to give a shit.

What I am proud of myself for, is my desire and calling to uplift and support the next generation of girls.

I am most proud of my independence. I am just finishing a 2-week solo road trip and throughout it all my belief in my ability to be strong on my own has pushed me through the tough times.
Huge thanks to all the incredible women who shared their answers and allowed us to publish them. Embodying an uninhibited way of being takes courage and self belief.
How refreshing is it to hear women building themselves up not down!?
