“I was recently in the Philippines shooting a campaign for Monsta Surf and I ended up shooting heaps of portraits of the locals. We were on an Island that got destroyed by Super Typhoon Yolanda three years ago (one of the worst storm’s ever recorded). I didn’t plan on shooting the portraits before the trip, it just kind of happened naturally along the way. Cool people. Cool place. Check it out if you get the chance!” – Sean Dwyer
“One minute you’re floating through the calm glassy waters of Bacuit Archipelago, the next you’re on an overcrowded bus battling torrential rain and hurricane winds well over 100km per hour. That’s the fun of travelling through the Philippines during typhoon season!” – Jamie Farnell
You’ve been to Bali, you’ve been to Phuket, but have you been to The Philippines?
This photo series makes us realise why The Philippines is such an up and comer in terms of S.E Asian holiday destinations, and also makes us realise we’re fools for not having been! On his film camera, photographer Jamie Farnell captures a dreamy side to The Philippines that seems perfectly lost in time.
Get ready to drop a few hunj on flights to Manilla after you’ve finished scrolling.

Today I’m thankful for the wonderful connected-ness that the internet and social media has given us. We connected with Nicola last year when she sent us her tale of her trip to the Great Ocean Road and we are so god damn happy every time she pops up in our inbox. This time Nicola has documented her time in the big apple through a series of exquisite photographs. Enjoy this one, and let it inspire you into your own NYC adventure, it sure has inspired us!
This quote is from a well known book ‘The Power of Now’ by Bryce Courtenay. I had already started creating this photo series when I came across it, but I feel it perfectly complements the images and what I am trying to get across. If you have a quiet moment in your day, I highly recommend giving it a read! It really struck something inside of me and I hope you can really concentrate on the feeling it opens your mind to.

“Use your senses fully. Be where you are. Look around. Just look, don’t interpret. See the light, shapes, colours, textures. Be aware of the silent presence of each thing. Be aware of the space that allows everything to be. Listen to the sounds; don’t judge them. Listen to the silence underneath the sounds. Touch something — anything — and feel and acknowledge its Being. Observe the rhythm of your breathing; feel the air flowing in and out, feel the life energy inside your body. Allow everything to be, within and without. Allow the “isness” of all things. Move deeply into the Now.
You are leaving behind the deadening world of mental abstraction, of time. You are getting out of the insane mind that is draining your life energy, just as it is slowly poisoning and destroying the Earth. You are awakening out of the dream of time into the present.”
Izzy Hobbs is one of those 16 year olds that makes you proud to be part of this up and coming generation. Her passions align completely with ours, and we are so excited to feature yet another young creative, more than ready to shake up and challenge the damaging habits of our world.
Oscar Finnemore has a retro style and a natural eye for finding subtle moments worth capturing. This old soul shoots on film and takes you with him on his adventures behind the lens.
Take a scroll through his dreamy frames and we guarantee you will feel the urge to go an coastal or overseas adventure! We’re feelin it big time!
We were recently lucky enough to get inside the mind of fellow millennium child Zali Rae. Zali is a total all rounder and a woman who wears many hats, this post is only a glimpse into the whirlwind of art this girl is producing. Zali Rae is one to watch!
